Call for Proposals: 2026 Good Roads Conference 

Good Roads is now accepting proposals for plenary, concurrent, and technical sessions for the 132nd annual Good Roads Conference. The Good Roads Conference brings together approximately 1800+ elected officials, staff, subject matter experts, and academics from all over the world. We invite you to share your expertise, insights, and ground breaking ideas with our diverse audience. 

Conference Dates: March 29 – April 1, 2026
Location: Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto, ON
Submission Deadline: October 3, 2025 

Topics of Interest 

We welcome proposals on a wide range of topics related to municipal transportation and infrastructure, including but not limited to: 

  • Road Safety 
  • Asset Management 
  • Climate Change Adaptation / Mitigation
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Green Infrastructure
  • Active Transportation
  • Mobility
  • Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion 
  • Winter Maintenance  
  • Workforce Training, Retention, and Development 

Presentation Formats 

  • Plenary Presentation: 20–30-minute session. 
  • Concurrent Session: 75-minute session split between 2-3 speakers delving into a topic. 
  • Technical Session: 30–45-minute session delving into a technical topic. 

Submission Guidelines 

  1. Title: A concise and engaging title for your session. 
  2. Abstract: A 300-word summary of your presentation, including key takeaways. 
  3. Speaker Bio: A brief biography (100 words) for each presenter. 
  4. Topic: Indicate the topic(s) your presentation falls under.
  5. Relevance: Explain how your presentation benefits attendees.
