Good Roads has more than 450 municipal and First Nations members. The annual Good Roads conference is the primary event dedicated to the management of more than $170 billion of municipal transportation infrastructure.
Municipalities are responsible for more than 302,000 lane kilometers of roads in Ontario. Roads are by far the most extensive and expensive assets that local governments own. Ontario’s municipal road network has a replacement value approximately $98 B and a maintenance backlog of more than $35 B. Roads are the backbone of the economy.
