Course Description

This two-day course delivers comprehensive training on the safety requirements for temporary work zones on municipal roads in Ontario. Based on the latest edition of OTM Book 7 and the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, the course addresses the current gap in standardized training for municipal staff and contractors. 

Participants will learn how to develop and implement effective traffic control plans, manage speed and visibility, and ensure the safety of vulnerable road users. Through case studies and hands-on projects, the course emphasizes the importance of proper documentation and certification to reduce liability and improve safety outcomes.
