Bruce is a retired municipal police officer. Through his training as a Collision Reconstructionist (the CSI of the accident investigation field) he understands how collisions occur and how they can be prevented. His instructing style is both approachable and streetwise. Bruce is passionate about worker and road safety.

Faculty Description
Brian Salazar
Brian graduated from Seneca College with a diploma in Resources Engineering Technology. He has been involved in the construction industry for over 40 years and obtained his LEED® AP designation in 2009.
Brian started his career in the concrete industry in 1978, as a Quality Control Technician for independent testing firms as well as a major ready-mix producer in the Greater Toronto Area. In 1987 he joined Euclid Canada in a sales and marketing capacity.
Brian Anderson
Prior to joining Intact Public Entities, Brian worked for both urban and rural municipalities as well as the Municipal Office of the Ministry of Transportation and Good Roads. Intact Public Entities assists’ client municipalities with their road safety issues. Brian is experienced in building, maintaining and managing municipal infrastructure.
Bob Richardson, C Tech, RCSI
Bob is a certified engineering technician and he brings over 30 years of surveying and inspection experience to Good Roads’ courses. He’s taken all Good Roads courses available and holds a PACP, which is Pipeline assessment certificate.
Bill White, P. Eng
Bill is a water and wastewater engineer with a wide range of skills and disciplines and presently working as a project manager. He has expertise in construction management, multi-disciplinary task coordination, contract administration, claims negotiation and resident engineering. His experience includes both conventional delivery and design-build projects. Bill’s specialties are water and wastewater treatment facilities, multi-discipline/high complexity construction and commissioning services.
Benjamin de Haan
Ben is a licensed professional engineer and County Engineer for the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. Ben is responsible for the overall management of the Roads Department, includes design, rehabilitation and maintenance of approximately 1000 kilometres roads and 200 bridges. After obtaining his degree from McGill University in 2003, Ben started his career as municipal engineer at a local consulting firm. Ben left consulting in 2009 to work for SDG.
Bart Kanters
Bart joined the RMCAO in 1999 and has progressed from technical engineer to engineering manager, to his current role as president of Concrete Ontario. Prior to joining Concrete Ontario, Bart was a division manager of a concrete restoration company in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Ashley Bridgeman
Ashley is focused on legal matters that relate to the municipal sector. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School. Her career has always been practicing law in the municipal context, working both for a lower tier and now upper tier municipality. Ashley practices contract law with a focus on procurement, as well as general municipal law including advocacy before administrative tribunals.
Arti Sanichara
Arti is a senior legal counsel with the Region of Peel. Her area of practice is planning and development, and environmental law. Before joining Peel, Arti worked at the Region of Durham. She has practiced at regional municipalities for almost 10 years and prior to that, she worked in the private sector doing land development.
Arshad Azhar
Arshad brings more than 35 years of experience in design, operation and planning of transportation infrastructure. He holds a Master degree (M.Sc.) in Transportation engineering, Professional Engineering License (P.Eng.), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), and Road Safety Professional (RSP) designations. He’s the responsible for roundabout design in the Ministry. He’s been working for MTO for last 18 years in Traffic operations and Highway design.
