Joseph D. Reid CET, CRS-S, CMM-II

Joseph has 20 years of progressive experience in the field of Municipal Transportation and Operations Management working at the City of Belleville. He oversees Public Works, Transit Operations, Parks and Open Spaces, and Fleet Operations. Joseph is a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), and a Certified Road Supervisor (CRS). He’s involved in: OGRA TJ Mahoney Road School, District 8 Road Supervisor’s Association, Eastern Lake Ontario Parks Association, Ontario Public Transit Association, and is currently the 2nd Vice President of Association of Ontario Road Supervisors.  He teaches Part-time in the Civil Engineering Program at Loyalist College.

Jeff Celentano

Jeff is a retired municipal management professional, with over 34 years of local government experience in Northeastern Ontario. He was a registered professional planner and worked in a variety of roles with the City of North Bay.  His career also included C.A.O./Clerk for the Municipality of Callander. His resume also includes a trained facilitator.  Over the past 10 years, he has also worked as a facilitator/trainer for three municipal sector not-for-profit organizations.

Guy Felio P.Eng. (ON, NWT)

Dr. Félio is a civil engineer with a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University with more than 35 years of experience. Guy provides expertise in the areas of asset management and adaptation of the built environment to climate change. At the NRC, he was the Director of a research group on urban infrastructure and launched the InfraGuide. Guy was the project coordinator and main author/researcher for the first Canadian Infrastructure Report Card. He served as a Councillor (2010-14) in Clarence-Rockland (ON).

Gord Troughton

Gord is the Director, Kitchener Corridor for GO Transit/Metrolinx. Gord has over 20 years of experience in highway maintenance, construction and design. He has worked in the private sector at the municipal level and for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

Gord is a Professional Engineer and is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Studies.

Gerry LeMay

Gerry has decades of municipal experience. He began his career working for an Engineering firm in Northern Ontario building roads, bridges and coal energy plants. He switched to the municipal sector 33 years ago. Gerry is also a member of Toastmaster. He graduated from California with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Gary Anderson

Gary is an expert in overseeing the day-to-day planning, management and organization of servicing, maintenance, logistics and compliance assurance of fleets with over 500 vehicles, and multi-million-dollar annual budgets. He’s a Former National Director of Fleet for the largest private waste management company in Canada. In addition, he’s also a Certified Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) through the Asset Management Association of Canada (PEMAC), and a Master Certificate Black Belt Six Sigma (Schulich School of Business).

Ewen MacDonald

Ewen is currently retired after being the General Manager Infrastructure Services for the Township of South Glengarry for 29 years.  Prior to this position he was a Supervisor at Cornwall Gravel Company Ltd. for 7 years.  Ewen has been a Course Director for Managing Human Resources Course since 2007 and he’s a two-time Past President of AORS.  He has a Degree in Public Administration from Western University and is a Certified Road Supervisor Senior.

Emil Marion

Emil is a certified Civil Engineering Technologist through OACETT and holds a Certified Senior Road Supervisor designation through AORS. He started working for the Region of Waterloo in 1988 working in Transportation Operations and held various positions over the decades. He brings hands on experience in the field and management. Currently Emil is the Manager, Transportation Operations.

Doubra Ambaiowei, Ph.d., P.Eng., MCSCE

Dr. Doubra Ambaiowei is a Professional Engineer in Ontario. He has developed extensive and practical experience in asphalt research and technical studies, and pavement engineering consulting services. His work specifically supports all technical requirements to promote the quality use of hot mix asphalt, and all other road building materials and construction.

Donald Johnson

Donald graduated from Fanshawe College in Civil Engineering Technology diploma and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Western. He has a wealth of municipal experience, working for the City of London for 10 years in Road Design and Building Departments. He spent 22 years in the Building Department with the Town of Ingersoll and he’s now officially retired, however works part-time for RSM Building Consultants in Kitchener. He’s been an active volunteer instructor for more than 39 years with Good Roads for the Municipal Survey course.
